# FAQ

Does Codex support remote MCP servers?

Yes. Codex supports streamable HTTP MCP servers by URL, with OAuth sign-in through codex mcp login.

Do I need an API key for the Codex MCP server?

No. flightclaw uses OAuth with dynamic client registration. You sign in with your email and a one-time code.

Where does Codex store the MCP config?

In ~/.codex/config.toml under [mcp_servers.flightclaw]. The CLI and the IDE extension share this file.

Can Codex book flights?

Codex creates a secure checkout link. The traveler pays the fare plus the booking fee by card on that page.

How many searches can I run?

Each account gets 100 flight searches per day.
